With over 198,000 visitors and an increase in attendance of more than 4% compared to 2018, the 2019 Lyon Fair attracted a record number of visitors. On Sunday, April 7th, over 39,000 people made the trip, the best attendance in one day since the 2011 edition.
This great achievement in terms of attendance is certainly due to the organizers taking on board past visitors’ comments: Véronique Szkudlarek, Director of the Fair of Lyon commented: "For some years now, we have been working on a new strategy aiming to better distinguish the home and shopping zones to better meet our visitor expectations. We’ve also revamped the visitor experience by mixing entertainment into the shopping experience".
