Geographical situation
The city of Lyon is ideally situated at the centre of western Europe, less than two hours’ drive from the Alps (and its ski resorts in the winter) and the Mediterranean (and its beautiful beaches in the summer).
Lyon has a temperate semi-continental climate, with fine, hot summers and dry, cold winters.
